meat

Gavrilović was the first to start producing Luncheon meat, a top-quality canned meat. The secret of its originality is hidden in more than six decades of perfected production, selection and salting of meat, and in optimal thermal processing.

Gavrilović Luncheon meat is a proud holder of the Croatian Quality mark, and has been produced according to the same recipe for more than 60 years.

pâté

The tradition of fine pâté production in Gavrilović dates back to 1938. As a technological innovation of that era, Gavrilović packed Jetrena pâté in hermetically sealed tin boxes, the forerunners of today’s cans. From then until today, Gavrilović pâtés are a unique product in which great knowledge and experience are woven.

Liver pâté is the holder of the Croatian Quality mark and is the absolute market leader, and has been recognized for years for its original orange design with the image of Jelica.

it’s from Gavrilović!

The slogan was created in 1965 by marketing expert Marijan Serdarušić, and the message has successfully withstood the test of time. It’s been a synonym for the excellence of Gavrilović products for generations.

At that time, probably no one even imagined that the saying of Marijan Serdarusić would become synonymous with the excellence of Gavrilović quality, not only in our country but also far beyond.

sausage

The name of “Tea sausage” was coined in the middle of the 19th century in the small Baltic town of Rugenwalde. It was derived directly from the habit of serving sandwiches with this sausage right about the time tea was due.

The rich taste of Tea Sausage has remained recognizable for centuries, so even today we find it very gladly and very often on many tables.

Winter Salami

Gavrilović Winter Salami decorated the festive tables of the Austrian emperors, the great Napoleon and his generals, and at one time Josip Broz Tito delighted his guest Sofia Loren with this uniquely tasting delicacy at the screening of the film “Battle on Neretva“.

Through these encounters, the beautiful actress got to know and appreciate many local specialties. She and Tito had both shared a passion for fine foods.

Trademark

“Based on the image of three-year-old Jelica Cekuš, later married to Laktić – cousin of Đuro Gavrilović the elder, the trademark of the Gavrilović factory was created in Vienna and was subsequently named “Jelica” after the girl. She used to nibble pork rinds and salami from a young age and grew up with the factory. The graphic design of Jelica holding winter salami was designed in 1939 by Andrija Maurović, one of the greatest Croatian cartoonists.”

history

330 years of tradition. No other Croatian brand except Gavrilović can make such a claim.
The slogan “It’s great, it’s from Gavrilović!” bases its truth on a rich family tradition spanning nine generations. Back in 1690, the first family ancestors settled in Petrinja, who, having started the butcher trade, could not even dream that their descendants would be at the head of one of the most important meat industries in this part of Europe three centuries later. From the developed trade, in 1821, the meat industry was developed, which is characterized by a continuous growth in the scope of production and reputation, and a continuous presence on the markets.
