NOTIFICATION OF THE START OF THE PROJECT “TRANSITION OF THE COMPANY GAVRILOVIĆ D.O.O. TO AN ENERGY AND RESOURCE EFFICIENT

Project Description
In December 2023, the company Gavrilović d.o.o. signed a grant agreement for the project “Transition of the company Gavrilović d.o.o. to an energy and resource efficient economy”. The project achieved co-financing through a call for grant proposals “Support for companies for the transition to an energy and resource efficient economy”, Reference: NPOO.C1.1.1.R4-I1.01 conducted by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The project is co-financed by the funds from the Recovery and Resilience Facility as part of the Next Generation EU Instrument.
The project consists of several elements: A1) Procurement and installation of production equipment and machines; A2) Procurement and installation of software solutions; A3) Construction of a photovoltaic power plant; A4) Contribution to EU environmental goals / green transition; A5) Project management; A) Promotion and visibility. The successful implementation of the project will strengthen the company’s competitiveness through the transition to a sustainable, green and resilient business with a high level of resource efficiency.
Objectives and Expected Results of the Project
The specific objective of the project is to strengthen the competitiveness and resilience of the company Gavrilović d.o.o. by investing in the green transition with the aim to reduce negative impacts on the climate and the environment, increase the sustainability of production, preserve existing and create new jobs and strengthen local and regional competitiveness.
The general objective of the project is to contribute to a more energy and resource efficient economy through the promotion of a circular economy and the decarbonization of energy-intensive industries.
The successful implementation of the project will achieve the following result: Strengthened competitiveness and resilience of the company Gavrilović d.o.o. by investing in the green transition with the aim to reduce negative impacts on the climate and the environment.
To measure the specific and overall objectives of the project, the following indicators are defined, which will be achieved through the project’s implementation:
- Savings in annual primary energy consumption: 585.22 MWh/year
- Built-in additional operational capacities for energy from renewable sources: 0.46 MW
- Amount of renewable energy in gross final energy consumption: 540.83 MWh/year
- Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions: 62.12 t/year CO₂
- Increase in employment: 3 new employee
