Notice on the Commencement of the Project Implementation “Transition of Gavrilović d.o.o. to an Energy-Efficient Economy”

THROUGH THE RECOVERY AND RESILIENCE FACILITY
Project Description
In December 2025, Gavrilović d.o.o. signed a Grant Agreement for the project entitled “Transition of Gavrilović d.o.o. to an Energy-Efficient Economy.” The project received funding under the call for project proposals “Support for Enterprises in the Transition to an Energy- and Resource-Efficient Economy” (Reference No.: NPOO.C1.1.1.R4-I1.02), implemented by the Ministry of Economy. The project is co-financed through the Recovery and Resilience Facility) as part of the NextGenerationEU
The project consists of the following components: A1) Procurement of autonomous forklifts; A2) Project management; A3) Communication and visibility activities.The core project activity is the procurement and implementation of energy-efficient Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs) aimed at significantly improving the energy efficiency of production processes, particularly the handling and transportation of raw materials and finished products within the manufacturing facility.
Objectives and Expected Results of the Project
The specific objective of the project is to enhance the competitiveness and resilience of Gavrilović d.o.o. through investments in the green transition, with the aim of reducing negative impacts on the climate and environment, increasing the sustainability of production, preserving existing jobs, and strengthening local and regional competitiveness.
The general objective of the project is to contribute to a more energy and resource efficient economy through the promotion of a circular economy and the decarbonization of energy-intensive industries.
Successful implementation of the project will result in Enhanced competitiveness and resilience of Gavrilović d.o.o. through investments in the green transition, contributing to the reduction of negative impacts on the climate and environment.

Project Description
In June 2026, Gavrilović d.o.o. successfully completed the project entitled “Transition of Gavrilović d.o.o. to an Energy- and Resource-Efficient Economy.” The project received co-financing under the Call for Proposals for the allocation of grants “Support to Enterprises for the Transition to an Energy- and Resource-Efficient Economy,” Reference No. NPOO.C1.1.1.R4-I1.01, implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The project was co-financed by funds from the Recovery and Resilience Facility as part of the NextGenerationEU instrument.
The project comprised several components: A1) Procurement and installation of production equipment and machinery; A2) Procurement and implementation of software solutions; A3) Construction of a photovoltaic power plant; A4) Contribution to the EU’s environmental objectives/green transition; A5) Project management; and A6) Promotion and visibility.

The specific objective of the project is to strengthen the competitiveness and resilience of the company Gavrilović d.o.o. by investing in the green transition with the aim to reduce negative impacts on the climate and the environment, increase the sustainability of production, preserve existing and create new jobs and strengthen local and regional competitiveness.
The general objective of the project is to contribute to a more energy and resource efficient economy through the promotion of a circular economy and the decarbonization of energy-intensive industries.
The successful implementation of the project strengthened the company’s competitiveness by supporting its transition towards sustainable, green and resilient business operations with a high level of resource efficiency.
