Project Description
In June 2026, Gavrilović d.o.o. successfully completed the project entitled “Transition of Gavrilović d.o.o. to an Energy- and Resource-Efficient Economy.” The project received co-financing under the Call for Proposals for the allocation of grants “Support to Enterprises for the Transition to an Energy- and Resource-Efficient Economy,” Reference No. NPOO.C1.1.1.R4-I1.01, implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The project was co-financed by funds from the Recovery and Resilience Facility as part of the NextGenerationEU instrument.
The project comprised several components: A1) Procurement and installation of production equipment and machinery; A2) Procurement and implementation of software solutions; A3) Construction of a photovoltaic power plant; A4) Contribution to the EU’s environmental objectives/green transition; A5) Project management; and A6) Promotion and visibility.
The successful implementation of the project strengthened the company’s competitiveness by supporting its transition towards sustainable, green and resilient business operations with a high level of resource efficiency.
Objectives and Expected Results of the Project
The specific objective of the project was to strengthen the competitiveness and resilience of Gavrilović d.o.o. through investments in the green transition, with the aim of reducing negative impacts on climate and the environment, increasing the sustainability of production, preserving existing jobs and creating new employment opportunities, and strengthening local and regional competitiveness.
The overall objective of the project was to contribute to a more energy- and resource-efficient economy by promoting the circular economy and the decarbonization of energy-intensive industries.
The successful implementation of the project resulted in the following achievement: strengthened competitiveness and resilience of Gavrilović d.o.o. through investments in the green transition aimed at reducing negative impacts on climate and the environment.
