The slogan “It’s excellent, it’s from Gavrilović!” is rooted in a rich family tradition spanning nine generations. Back in 1690, the first family ancestors settled in Petrinja and started a butcher’s trade, never imagining that three centuries later their descendants would be leading one of the most important meat industries in this part of Europe.

Cultural heritage
Dramatic social changes, ups and downs have never questioned the basic constant – a safe product and top quality insisted upon from the very beginning. From a developed trade, in 1821 a meat industry emerged, characterized by continuous growth in production volume and reputation, as well as a constant presence on the markets.
