The name Graničarska takes us back to the times when Petrinja was settled by Graničari – border guarding soldiers who defended this territory against Turk invasions. This sausage is mildly salty in aroma and is known for its specific flavour. It is easily cut into very thin slices.

Salami should be cut into thin slices about 1 mm thick. Only then you can enjoy the full combination of flavors and aromas. It is important to peel the casing before slicing.
