When it comes to premium hams, special attention should be paid to the thickness of the slices. Hams are cut into thinner slices than durable sausages. Depending on the diameter, the thickness of the slices should vary between 0.8 and 1.2 mm. It is best to cut the slices as thinly as possible. Ham should be cut exclusively crosswise, never lengthwise.
We recommend serving very thinly sliced Farmer ham with soft cheeses like French Brie, with grapes or sliced pear. This ham is an excellent base for salads or more complex dishes.
